'They make a fantastic noise' - Cormac Battle 2FM

Is a two-piece band blending swamp blues and raw punk — loud and straight to the point. Fronted by Irish singer Matthew Cawe with Scouse drummer Ollie Fontaine, they keep things minimal but hit hard, with slide guitar, pounding drums, a healthy dose of humour and a no-nonsense attitude.

The Irish/Scouse duo have been captivating audiences since forming in 2022. They’ve supported acts like Ash, Spear of Destiny, and The Darts, while also headlining their own extensive tours across Ireland, UK, and mainland Europe. Highlights include a sold-out hometown show in Liverpool to launch their debut album, MUDBUGS.

They also joined The Saw Doctors on tour, which included two sold-out nights at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre as well as sold out shows at Leeds O2 and Rock City, Nottingham.

The singles have received airplay on RTÉ Ireland and BBC Radio, as well as features on independent stations and podcasts.

Their explosive live performances have earned a reputation for delivering high-octane energy, sweat-drenched and adrenaline-fueled sets that channel the urgency of punk with the soul of the blues.

Their songs dive headfirst into the macabre, offering razor-sharp takes on society, paranoia, overindulgence, and that warm, fuzzy feeling of looming catastrophe. Cawe frequently plays devil’s advocate—sometimes literally.
